Using data to improve your skin
We want to improve the quality of life for people struggling with skin diseases such as acne, eczema and psoriasis. We do that by combining science, community feedback and machine learning to make informed recommendations for our users.
The reason we’re putting so much energy into this is that we know just how damaging a skin condition can be. Not only to your skin and self-esteem but also to the way you move and act in the world. When the condition is at its worst, many of our users mention wanting to hide or disappear. And what they dream of is simply being their “normal”, everyday selves again with all that entails of ups and downs - but taking part in the world instead of retreating from it. That is what we want to help them reclaim.
Currently, 86% of our users report an improvement in their skin from using NØIE as their solution. But the more feedback our community provides, the more precisely we can customise and develop NØIE's solution. In that sense we are always working towards better results.
The name NØIE comes from the Danish word “nøje”, meaning careful, accurate or meticulous. All of those meanings permeate everything we do, from how we pick our ingredients to how we customise our solutions for each user.
