"People were very eager to give me good advice on how I should take care of my skin and what I should be doing to improve my skin. And I just think it was a bit out of place getting all these comments all the time, because I think the person having the acne is highly aware of the fact that it's going on."Agree Cécile. Good advice is nice. Sometimes. Other times, it's tiring. Like when you’re struggling with acne and people can’t help but tell you what to do about it. As if you hadn’t tried that already. Or as if you weren’t aware that you’re having a bad (acne) day. Cécile has finally come to a point where she actually accepts her skin and it feels good. "I still get breakouts sometimes, but smaller ones and and less painful ones. I'm also mentally working on being more okay with my skin not being perfect and think that we shouldn't strive for "model skin". We should just strive for healthy skin and also being happy and liking ourselves, even though our skin is reacting."
