At the age of 32, Ramona was diagnosed with gynaecological cancer. She started taking hormone replacement therapy and developed skin issues. In a conversation with Marie from NØIE on July 4th, 2022, she says:

»I've also never been someone who wears makeup, so I don't like... "Am I going to start wearing makeup? That doesn't feel right either."«⁠⁠
