Since she was 8 years old, Sarah has been struggling with acne on her face and her back. In a conversation with Marie from NØIE on April 8th, 2022, she says:

»I remember on my wedding day - I got married when I was 30 - it was really important to me to find a dress that covered my back. I couldn’t wear a dress with a corsage, simply because my back wasn’t pretty enough to show. And it never was.«⁠⁠
